Open Source cloud solution for the Internet of Things

OpenIoT at the ICT 2013 Conference

OpenIoT-ICT2013-stand

OpenIoT demonstrated its open source middleware and application examples at the huge ICT 2013 conference in Vilnius 6-8 November 2013.

OpenIoT was selected from more than 270 exhibition stand proposals and was also assigned a 90-minute networking session.

ICT 2013 is organised biannually by the European Commission to bring together the top research and innovation projects as well as businesses and other European stakeholders within the ICT sector.

OpenIoT is a top-rated research and open source project that enables querying sensor clouds for data, without worrying about which are the actual sensors used. It does so by registering the kinds of data that each sensor can deliver, in a so called knowledge graph (ontology). An Integrated Development Environment enables Do-It-Yourself services based on public sensor data, for example Open Data from public authorities.

OpenIoT has released its first middleware version at the OpenIoT open source project. Our application scenarios are shown in the OpenIoT YouTube channel.

We welcome businesses and other stakeholders in manufacturing, warehouses, agriculture, smart cities and universities to join us in bringing value to end-users from the Internet-of-Things. Contact us!
