For Developers

The OpenIoT Open Source Project has been launched, and we invite developers and companies to engage in it. You can use the OpenIoT source code to create innovative services, and for extending it with new sensor wrappers or even improving the OpenIoT platform itself to for example:

• facilitate open access to a wide range of technologies for internet-connected sensors and other objects as services - OpenIoT is the first project to provide the means for setting up, managing and using an open source sensor cloud.
• support large-scale deployments by co-scheduling access from thousands of simultaneous users to millions of sensors and actuators - OpenIoT will have a small number of own open (public data) sensing services for anyone to send queries to.
